Yes. I am. Matakaw and Proud. I love food and will always be passionate about it! But lately, I am not fond of smelling fried stuff. Especially fried chicken. But I am not sure if Chickenjoy of Jollibee will have the same effect on me. Haha! But I am looking forward of munching that big Amazing Aloha. And that Pork Chao Fan with four pieces of siomai. I'm sure I will order with kangkong with bagoong for a Chow with a Bang! And definitely, I will not miss that Beef Misono and California Maki. I definitely will not. Wait for me Tokyo Tokyo!
See, that's the effect of TV on me. I seldom watch TV due to my tight schedule and most of the time my kid Aya is its master. But when I do, the commercials makes me hungry! No, I am not posting to promote these establishments/ fast foods. I just want to share my favorites.
My friend Te Calleja-Oting invited me to like a page in Facebook. Its Homey's Cafe. I think she had lunch with her siblings on that place, base on her status post. And when I scanned the page, my jaws dropped. Chicharong Bulaklak!!! I mean, really, its not helping. I am proud to be matakaw but I am on my first trimester and its not really helping on my hormones. Just thinking about it makes my mouth watery!
Oh, I really wish I could try it. But Makati is so far from me. *teary-eyed*
But I can think of few places that serves really good Chicharong Bulaklak. Ihaw-ihaw sa San Matias in Pampanga and RG Sisig in Meycauayan, Bulacan are for me, one of the best. I don't know, maybe its the sauce. The seasoned vinegar makes the chicharong bulaklak experience more memorable. Coz I have tried the chicharong bulaklak in TRF Dine and Resto here in our area but it fell flat for me. Its good but something is missing.
Maybe I should post this with a title, Cravings. But I am proud, you know. =D
Cravings and more,
Angel
